ABOUT ARROGANT STUDIO Arrogant Studio started out with mostly black and white graphic designs based on original stock photos. I, Rasmus Benjamin, am the owner. I wanted to make high quality prints that were still affordable, so young men like myself would have the opportunity to decorate their homes with something they truly like. I never compromise, and neither should you. WHY I STARTED Creating art has been a big part of my life since I was a little kid. I expressed myself just as I wanted to, and I still do. When I began to work with Photoshop to make digital prints, others began to want them too. That’s why I decided to establish Arrogant Studio as a side business. Before I knew it, it had taken off and become my full time job. BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE No matter what, just be yourself and do what you like. If you want to express your creativity, then put all your effort into it and don’t compromise. Somewhere out in the world other people will like your stuff and buy it. But you have to work hard at it. Otherwise you should just stick to your day job. THE MOST AMAZING PART People around the world send me photos of my artwork tattoed on their bodies. It is so fun and amazing to see, that my artwork means so much to other people. It makes me want to get up every morning and be even more creative than I was the day before. MY TECHNIQUE I primarily work with Photoshop and stock photos. Making the images in my head come together on screen is a bit like putting together a puzzle that has never been made before. Sometimes I save a piece for years before I can return to it and get it just right. Other times I will scrap it, because the idea can’t be made to work. I also express myself in my own photos and original art pieces. No matter the medium, I never make anything, that I wouldn’t hang from my own walls. THE FUTURE I know that the future will bring good things for Arrogant Studio and anyone who likes what I do.
